VG Training Academy provides Webinars – Science, Safety, and a PHC Apprenticeship
Curriculum. The Webinars are for the anyone in the Arboricultural Community that is
striving to become an arborist, the arborist who needs CEUs, the CTSP that needs
safety CEUs, or the arborist who would like to seek more knowledge.

Jeff Thierbach

Instructor in Science and Safety Education

Jeff has been involved with the green industry for 35 years.  He started his career with a tree nursery, then a national tree company, and moved on to start Victorian Gardens Tree Care in 1995.  His career has covered PHC, Climbing, Consulting, Utility, and Safety. During his career in the green industry he has attended college, obtained many credentials, and attended conferences across the U.S.  He has been an instructor for TCIA, ACRT, ISA Michigan, and Victorian Gardens, teaching all aspects of the green industry.   Jeff has also been the Chair of the Michigan Tree Climbing Competition numerous time, and has served as a Site Leader for Saluting Branches for 10 years. Jeff has been performing the duties of Safety Director for the past ten years for various companies, storm response with OSR, and an instructor for VG Training Academy, a subsidiary of Victorian Gardens. 

Dawn Thierbach

Developer of Science and Safety Webinars

Dawn has been involved with the green industry for 35 years and then moved obtained her Associates Degree in Landscape Horticulture and many other credentials throughout the field of Arboriculture. During her caree in Arboriculture, she was a Board Member of ISA Michigan, worked for TCIA as a Regional Outreach Coordinator and has been the Chair of the Michigan Tree Climbing Competition numerous times. Dawn is a Site Leader for Saluting Branches and has performed that duty for 10 years. She now uses her knowledge of PHC, Climbing, Consulting and Safety for developing webinars for VG Training Academy and Victorian Gardens.
